There has been an advance in liposuction that has brought about a new non-invasive procedure. This surgery has advantages to the traditional method of liposuction in that the recovery time is much shorter and the technique has fewer complications than traditional liposuction.

This new liposuction allows people to really target the problem areas on the body that no amount of exercise and dieting will get rid of. The best part is that this new liposuction method is permanent; once you have taken away fat cells with the procedure they will not come back.

The Technique

Under this new liposuction method you are put under local anesthetic and lasers are used to melt fat. The tube that is used in this new liposuction method is a millimeter in diameter and there is little trauma and no need for stitches, difference that make it a safer surgery option than old liposuction methods.

Fat oozes out of the small incisions made or is suctioned out and a small amount may be absorbed by the body and then excreted within 24 hours. The fact that you dont have to go under general anesthetic also makes it very appealing.

Recovery

Recovery from this surgery is also much faster than traditional liposuction methods. Where before you could only expect to go back to work after one or two days. You still have to wear the compression bandages for two weeks after your surgery; this is a lot shorter when compared to the six weeks that is expected on average of normal liposuction.

Advantages

As mentioned earlier there are fewer traumas to your body with this new liposuction method. One of the reasons for that is the fat being suctioned out is liquid fat, not solid fat, this makes the procedure less traumatic than if solid fat was being suctioned out of your body.

There is also no need for face-lifts or tucks of any kind after the surgery. Where previously traditional methods left loose skin that needed to be surgically corrected, here you skin is actually tightened after your operation. This procedure is excellent for body sculpting and can remove up to 8lbs of fat in a session.

The results are also permanent; fat cells do not grow back. Once you have removed them with this new liposuction method you have said goodbye to them forever.
